This is always a popular event so get your tickets early! Since their debut in 1993, the four members of Quartette have been both publicly and critically acclaimed for their lush harmonies and delightfully diverse repertoire. Cindy Church, Caitlin Hanford, Gwen Swick, and Sylvia Tyson are seasoned singer/songwriters whose influences range from blues and gospel to country and folk to jazz and pop. The most recent of their six recordings is Down at the Fair with legendary musician/producer Colin Linden. An evening with Quartette is always a magical musical journey.

Date: Mar 15, 2010 - Mar 20, 2010 Location: Chilliwack Curling Club, 9291 Corbould, Chilliwack Contact: Claude Latulippe, Publicity Chair 604-858-3395 E-Mail: bclatulippe@telus.net Website: http://www.curlchilliwack.org <P>The Chilliwack Curling Club is hosting this provincial championship. </P><P>The schedule of event is as follows: </P><UL><LI>March 15, 2010 is designated as a practice day for the participating teams. </LI><LI>The championship banquet will be held that same night and will be attended by the players, Curl BC representatives and local dignitaries. </LI><LI>Curling draws are scheduled for 12:00 and 7:00 PM 16 to 19 March 2010. </LI><LI>Tie breakers if necessary and finals are scheduled for March 19 - 20, 2010 timings to be determined. </LI></UL><P>Eight mixed curling teams (2 men & 2 women on each team) representing 11 curling regions in BC will compete in a round robin competition (each team plays each other once) to determine BC berth in 2011 Canadian Mixed Curling Championship to be held in Morris, MB, November 13-20, 2010. </P><P>Each team taking part in the provincial championship must qualify in their respective region before attending; regions qualifications are scheduled for February 2010 at which time teams will be announced. The Chilliwack Curling Club organizing committee wishes to target the population residing east of the Fraser River. Admittance is free. </P>
